BALTIC ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP INDORS 2025
MEN AND WOMEN DIVISIONS
TOURNAMENT RULES
- Determine the winners of the Baltic Ultimate Championship Indoors 2025 (BUCI2025).
- Provide high-level games for Baltic and Nordic teams that participated in the regular season.
- Conduct player selection for the Latvian national teams.
- Promote and develop ultimate frisbee in Latvia.
- Time and place
The Baltic Ultimate Frisbee Championship will take place on March 15-16 at the Sports Arena Ogre (Gunara Astras Street 1).

- The competition is organized by the Latvian Frisbee Federation (hereinafter referred to as – LFF) in cooperation with the Latvian Disc Sports Union.
- Under the authority and assignment of the LFF, the competition is managed by the competition director, Kristiāna Buldure.

- Operates based on the LFF Board-approved “Assignment for Competition Organization”;
- Confirms the composition of participants;
- Decides on the application of penalties mentioned in the regulations.
- Competition Event Coordinator:

- Ensures the sports hall is suitable for frisbee games;
- Provides access to first aid kits in the sports hall and is responsible for ensuring further medical assistance if needed;
- In coordination with the teams involved, has the authority to decide on changes to the game start times and schedules;
- Records and promptly informs the competition director about violations of rules, regulations, and other issues.
- Games will be conducted according to the LFF indoor frisbee rules and EUF indoor rules with adjustments outlined in these regulations and the annex “Competition Format.”
- The “Competition Format” document will be sent to team representatives along with the preliminary game schedule.
- The following aspects of the “Competition Format” may be modified:
- Size of the playing field;
- Time and other game restrictions;
- Point limits;
- Other constraints, if compliance is reasonably impossible and does not significantly impact game quality.
- Participants of the Baltic Ultimate Frisbee Championship are teams registered on ultimatecentral.com.
- Changes in Team Rosters: Players can only be listed on one team’s roster at a time.

- Teams are registered by the ultimate frisbee club they represent;
- If no club represents the team, the team must be registered by its representative.
- A team is officially registered when:
- It has been registered on ultimatecentral.com,
- Participation fees:
- Teams who participated in Baltic indoor Ultimate frisbee league 2024/2025 – team fee 50,00 (75% discount).
- €200,00 per team for those who didn’t participate in Baltic indoor frisbee league 2024/2025.
- Communication
- Event information is available on the website frisbee.lv.
- Communication with event organizers (invoicing, questions, suggestions, etc.) can be conducted via:

- Communication with participants will take place via the contact information (email/phone) provided during team and player registration.
- The preliminary game schedule and the “Competition Format” will be sent to team representatives no later than 10 days before the first scheduled game.
- The final game schedule will be sent no later than a week before the first game.
- Changes in Game Schedule:
- If a team cannot attend at the scheduled time, they may reschedule the games as follows:
- Contact the opposing team representatives and agree on a new time and place,
- Submit a request by email (to linda@frisbee.lv) at least 10 days in advance, including the rescheduled time, place, and justification.
- The rescheduled game must comply with the deadlines outlined in the “Competition Format.”
- The competition director has the right to deny rescheduling requests, providing a justification.
- Information about schedule changes will be sent to team representatives no later than a week before the affected date.
Teams placing 1st–3rd in the men’s and women’s divisions will receive medals.
Individual awards will be presented for:
- Most valuable players and Spirit of the Game winners in the Baltic Ultimate League regular season;
- Most valuable players and Spirit of the Game winners in the Baltic Indoor Ultimate Championship.
- A technical loss may be awarded for:
- Rescheduling games without adhering to the procedure in Section 8.3.1.,
- Fielding a player not approved for the team roster.
- Teams with an equal win-loss record will be ranked lower if they have more technical losses.
- A fine of €50 may be imposed for failing to comply with Section 8.3.1.2. regarding game rescheduling.
- The Disciplinary Committee is responsible for resolving conflicts and imposing penalties.
- The committee’s composition, procedures, and penalty application are outlined in the “Disciplinary Committee Regulations.”
